With just 24 hours of shore leave from the US Navy, there’s not much time for Ozzie, Chip and Gabey to see the sights of New York - especially if they plan on finding love along the way. After overcoming a precarious dinosaur, a lovestruck cabbie and the New York Police Department, the boys can’t deny that from the Bronx to the Battery, New York is certainly a helluva town!
From the writers of Singing In the Rain and the composer of West Side Story, On the Town is a vibrant love letter to the city that never sleeps, from the golden age of Hollywood musicals. Following in the footsteps of Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra, GMT are delighted to be bringing this often overlooked classic musical to Eastwood Park Theatre in 2017.
