Glasgow Music Theatre started with a bang, opening the Ramshorn Theatre's Autumn season in 2009 with the Glasgow premiere of I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change. A cast of 4 played 58 characters in this celebration of dating, mating and waiting in line for the bathroom, attracting rave views from audiences and playing to packed houses. In a black-box set with only a bed and some chairs, GMT shared the ups and downs of falling in love from blind date to geriatric pick-up tips in this rollercoaster ride of disastrous dates and marital mistakes. Featuring a sublime score of musical styles from blues to rock, reggae to country and tango to gospel this was musical theatre comedy at its best.
