Sex, religion and politics clash in The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas, a fun-filled take on the oldest profession in the world.

Based on a true story, the show sees former working-girl Miss Mona run her small-town brothel, The Chicken Ranch, according to a strict code of conduct. But when an evangelical TV crusader makes it his mission to shut her down, The Ranch suddenly finds itself in the spotlight - along with the local sheriff, whose feelings for Mona may not be as plain as he lets on...

GMT returns to Websters Theatre for the first time since opening the venue with 2013’s Into the Woods to share this cult country & western musical. But fair warnin’ folks; be ready for colourful cussin’, excessive levels of hoedown, and the loudest gospel singers this side of the Alamo. If you’re not careful, y’all might just leave with a spring in your step and a gun-totin’ cowboy on your arm.
