Become a 'Friend of GMT'

 

As well as the knowledge that you are playing a vital role in supporting the work of GMT, and helping to develop singing, acting and dancing talent of your friends/family/community, being a member of the 'Friend' scheme has the following benefits:

 

  • Priority booking for GMT shows in advance of the general public

  • Discounts on tickets for opening night for GMT shows (excluding concerts)

  • Free programmes at all GMT shows

  • VIP seats at any performances with unreserved seating

  • Your name listed on our website and in our programmes

  • Exclusive events for 'Friends' including an annual drinks reception and the chance to sit in on an open rehearsal

 

COST

To join we ask for an annual contribution which can be set up quickly online. The cost of joining is £30 per year, or £50 to join as a couple.

Support Glasgow Music Theatre

 

We at GMT pride ourselves on the fact that we don’t charge membership fees or audition fees. Shows are cast solely on merit and anyone is welcome to book an audition slot for any of our shows. It is also not compulsory for our cast members to sell a minimum number of tickets. Because we don't raise money in these ways, productions are financed entirely through box office income. 

 

GMT has a great financial track record, but we are getting more ambitious. We want to continue to take risks and choose shows which won't always be the big crowd-pleasers; that are less well-known but perhaps more challenging. In order to keep taking these kinds of artistic risks, we need your help. If you know anyone for whom GMT has played a significant role in their life, or if you’ve enjoyed our shows and want us to continue staging them, or if you’ve ever been in a GMT show yourself - we’re asking you for your support.

HOW TO JOIN

If you would like to join our scheme, first select whether you would like Single or Joint membership. Please also enter your full name(s) as you would like it to appear on our website (or enter 'Anonymous' if you do not wish to be credited on our website and in our programmes). If you have selected Joint Membership, please don't forget to include your partner's name.
